PulpFest’s New Gaming Room Banner

PulpFest Gaming BannerThe Hyatt Regency Columbus is a pretty big place. That’s why it’s able to have two conventions taking place at the same time — Matsuricon and PulpFest. To help you find your way around and make sure you’re heading for the right spot, the PulpFest organizing committee asked its designer, William Lampkin, to come up with some banner art that will help us mark our various locations.

You’ll find our PLAY banner strategically placed outside the Clark Room on the second floor of the Hyatt Regency Columbus. This is where our new gaming track will take place. The only requirements to play games at PulpFest 2015 are a PulpFest membership, your imagination, and a desire to have a good time. So if you enjoy pulps and you enjoy games, PulpFest will be the place to be. So watch for the PulpFest PLAY banner when you’re ready to join in on the fun of CALL OF CTHULHUMUNCHKIN CONAN, CTHULHU DICE, FORTUNE AND GLORYARKHAM HORROR, SHADOWRUN, TRAIL OF CTHULHU, PATHFINDER and all of the other great games our gaming track coordinator, Rick Thomas, has planned for you. He’ll be assisted by the Columbus chapter of the Ohio Pathfinder SocietyRogue Cthulhu, the Catalyst Demo Team, and others  will be assisting him. The PulpFest 2015 gaming track will begin at 10 AM on both Friday and Saturday and last until 10 PM or thereabouts. On Sunday, games will begin at 10 AM and continue until the end of the convention. So if you enjoy pulps and you enjoy games, PulpFest will be the place to be.

(The new PulpFest Gaming Room banner, designed by William Lampkin — who also edits THE PULPSTER for the convention — features the artwork of George Rozen. It originally ran on the front cover of the August 1, 1934 issue of THE SHADOW, published by Street & Smith.)
