For Dealers
PulpFest 2010 will have approximately 100 eight-foot tables in its nearly 10,000 square-foot dealers’ room. Island tables will sell for $70 and wall tables will cost $80. Both rates include a ten-dollar surcharge for promotional activities. Wall tables and positioning within the dealers’ room will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis.
As of June 22, 2010, please note that all of our tables have been taken. A waiting list has been created in case there are any cancellations.
There will be no height restrictions on island tables. Bookcases will be allowed on all tables as long as they can stand safely. All members registering as dealers must have material available for sale at their tables. If you have any special needs–electrical outlets, a desire to be positioned near certain dealers, unique display requirements, and so on–please let us know when you register. All registered dealers will be listed on the Dealers page of the PulpFest website with a description of the materials they will be selling at our show.
Although the focus of PulpFest 2010 will be pulp magazines and related materials, vintage paperbacks, digests, men’s adventure and true crime magazines, first edition hardcovers, series books, dime novels, original art, Big Little Books, B-movies and serials and related collectibles, old-time-radio shows, and Golden and Silver Age comic books can also be sold. Please remember that PulpFest is not a comic book convention. Sexually explicit material, including Playboy, Penthouse, and Oui, will not be allowed.
All dealers will be required to purchase prepaid, three-day memberships for $30 for themselves and for any helpers accompanying them to the show. Dealer set-up will be held Thursday evening, July 29 from 6 PM to 12 AM.
